Dona Garcia-Egger Theris Brown NTRP COORDINATOR: Theris Brown SECTION HEAD VERIFIER: Robin Brown, Team Leader OFFICIAL BALL: Penn RULES AND REGULATIONS: The official rules of the USTA will be observed as well as the USTA League Rules and Regulations. Officials will be on site to assist if necessary. AWARDS: Awards are given to the winners and finalists in each category. CHECK IN: Team captains check in their teams at the site where they play their first match one-half hour prior to match time. Captains must present their line-up when they check-in their team. Any questions of eligibility (membership, waiver, release form and NTRP) will be taken care of. Upon check-in you will be given numbers for the players to wear on their backs. Players must wear the assigned number for all of their matches! Teams must be ready to play when line-up is submitted. Both team captains must sign the score card upon completion of each match. TOURNAMENT HOTELS: Holiday Inn-Brentwood/Bel Air PARKING: Parking charge at UCLA is $5.00 per day. You must pay for parking or you will get a ticket! The UCLA police never miss! Even if the arm is up in the parking lot, you must pay. The SCTA has no control over parking at UCLA! We also have to pay the parking charge!
USTA APPROVED SCORING SYSTEM The Fall Doubles Sectional Championships will be using the USTA approved "Scoring Format" All matches will be best two out of three sets, with a12 point tie-breaker in lieu of the third set. In 1999 the USTA will be using this format in all
